How long we keep information

Grow Nairn will only keep personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or for as long as we are required to keep it by law, our funders or other applicable requirements.

The length of time we keep information will depend on the type of information and why we need it. For example, information relating to donations, funding and financial records may be retained for longer where this is necessary to meet accounting, tax, charity law or funder requirements. Information relating to supporters, volunteers and members will generally be kept while they remain involved with Grow Nairn and for a reasonable period afterwards where necessary.
