Our vision is a sustainable and resilient food system, with land managed for the benefit of the community and nature, where a positive food culture is at the heart of the community.
Our purpose is to grow food for the Nairn Community that is economically, socially and environmentally sustainable.
Sustainable Food Production
The market garden will grow fruit and vegetables for the Nairn community. Running as a social enterprise and prioritising organic and eco-friendly practices, the garden will sell weekly vegetable crop share boxes to households in Nairn and to local cafes and restaurants. By subscribing to our boxes, you support local agriculture while enjoying fresh, seasonal produce.
Community Enrichment
The market garden will provide the people of Nairn with an opportunity to learn about sustainable horticulture, and to take part in social activities, and will enhance the positive local food culture in the town. Join us in building a more resilient Nairn community today.
Community Led
Grow Nairn is a community led membership organisation, managed by our community. Help to shape our community market garden as a member and through volunteering.
Education & Workshops
The community market garden will be a place for learning and developing practical skills while connecting with like-minded individuals and partner organisations who share a passion for sustainability.
